EstrellaSat has been established to deliver broadband data access via satellite to and from mobile heavy equipment operating in very remote areas around the world. EstrellaSat will provide a complete turnkey system to customers, including the sale and installation of modems and antenna’s onboard customers equipment in the field, the sale and installation of ground station channel units in satellite distributors’ teleports and customers own premises, and the development of software specifically according to customers needs, that will access onboard machine monitoring and control systems provided by other suppliers.

Data will be bundled and transmitted via the EstrellaSat system to customers base facilities, and integrated into corporate networks in close cooperation with customers own systems engineers.

Modems mounted onto customers mobile heavy equipment will access internal machine computer systems to gather data and transmit it at broadband rates via satellite and the Internet to central control points located anywhere in the world.

Ground control channel units at customer premises are placed under the full operating control of the customer. The result is a flexible, fully private, fully mobile broadband satellite access system for remote heavy equipment that cannot be fully matched by any other competitor in the world today.
